چکیده

Abstract Concrete is the most widely used construction material as building because it has advantages such easy workability, high compressive strength, and economical in terms of manufacturing maintenance. However, there are some disadvantages obtained from use concrete, low tensile cracking, brittleness. Therefore, necessary to add fiber concrete increase ductility SCC maintain workability after substitution. The variation addition nylon 0.5% 1% weight cement with a diameter 0.35 mm 0.65 mm, length 15 20 mm. With length, strength increased by 126%. was also found be evenly distributed mixture did not experience clumping volume reduced 5-7% normal concrete. SEM results show clear interface between fiber, slippery morphology causes bonding become weak.

Effect of Superplasticizer and NaOH Molarity on Workability, Compressive Strength and Microstructure Properties of Self-Compacting Geopolymer Concrete

The research investigates the effects of super plasticizer and molarity of sodium hydroxide alkaline solution on the workability, microstructure and compressive strength of self compacting geopolymer concrete (SCGC). SCGC is an improved way of concreting execution that does not require compaction and is made by complete elimination of ordinary Portland cement content. The parameters studied wer...

Prediction of Compressive Strength of Self- Compacting Concrete with Fuzzy Logic

The paper presents the potential of fuzzy logic (FL-I) and neural network techniques (ANN-I) for predicting the compressive strength, for SCC mixtures. Six input parameters that is contents of cement, sand, coarse aggregate, fly ash, superplasticizer percentage and water-to-binder ratio and an output parameter i.e. 28day compressive strength for ANN-I and FL-I are used for modeling. The fuzzy l...

Prediction Compressive Strength of Self-Compacting Concrete Containing Fly Ash Using Fuzzy Logic Inference System

Self-compacting concrete (SCC) developed in Japan in the late 80s has enabled the construction industry to reduce demand on the resources, improve the work condition and also reduce the impact of environment by elimination of the need for compaction. Fuzzy logic (FL) approaches has recently been used to model some of the human activities in many areas of civil engineering applications. Especial...

Relation between the Workability and Strength of Self-compacting Concrete

This paper presents the results of an experimental research on the workability and compressive strength of self-compacting concrete. The work focused on concrete mixes having water/binder ratios of 0.35 and 0.45, which contained constant total binder contents of 500 kg/m and 400 kg/m, respectively. The concrete mixes contained four different dosages of a superplasticizer based on carboxylic wit...
